*****  EXAM 1 ******** EXAM 1 ******** Exam 1 ******

Exam 1 will be held in Room 112.

Wednesday, February 4, 2004

This is a closed-book test. You should only bring a pencil and calculator to the exam.  An equation sheet will be provided.

Many of the problems have numerical answers.  The number you calculate may be slightly different from the answers listed due to round-off errors, so always choose the answer which is closest to yours.

It is always best to work the problem and write out the solution on the exam before you pencil in an answer on the bubble sheet.  By writing out your solution you have a much better chance of working the problem correctly!

Each problem is worth the same number of points.

Please take a look at the equation to sheet to see if there are additions you would like to make!
